Little Red Hen Goes to Baltimore!

The Little Red Hen team of Alex W., Andrew St., Sam Di., and Frankie G., are putting Chico on the map and letting the nation know that Community Integration is not only possible, "it's reality" as Sam Di. confidently stated.

This week right next door to the nations capital the annual HCBS conference is taking place in Baltimore. HCBS is the acronym for Home and Community Based Services and our team from LRH is there as proof positive that meeting the HCBS legislation is possible.

In addition to demonstrating that community integration can be achieved, the team is also letting conference attendees and visitors know that Little Red Hen operates two outstanding online stores!

Our online boutique and Etsy stores carry more than 10,000 high quality products from vintage treasures to unique gifts to any kitchen gadget you ever dreamed of to high end small appliances!

Most importantly, LRH offers consumers the opportunity to feel like something bigger than themselves, to make their purchasing dollars change the lives of adults and children with developmental disabilities. Every purchase and every donation goes back into our organization to serve more children, hire more people and provide life changing job training.

"Retail with a purpose" is the philosophy that drives our retail engine and we invite you to participate in our proactive movement of helping people with developmental disabilities achieve their goals and dreams. You can support us by making purchases in our stores, making a donation, and joining our newsletter

Special thanks to Daniel Strauss and Gabrielle Green for helping to get our team prepped to represent LRH and put Chico on the map.
