Returns / Refunds

At Little Red Hen we will always strive to make sure each customer has a pleasant shopping experience online. Items can be returned for a refund within 30 days of purchase. Items with a gift receipt can be refunded for the amount on the gift receipt. Refunds do not include the cost of shipping. If an item is damaged in shipping, Little Red Hen will gladly pay the cost of re-shipping a replacement for your damaged item.

Purchases made on a debit or credit card may take at least 10 days to be refunded to your card.

If your merchandise is defective or damaged, we will gladly replace it with an identical item within the 30 day period. In the event that the item is no longer available we will be glad to give you a refund. If your purchase was made online, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that your refund is being processed, or your replacement item is being shipped. Perishable goods such as food and flowers cannot be returned.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Shipping

To return your product, you should mail your product to: 977 East Ave Suite F Chico California US 95926.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If the item is damaged or defective, Little Red Hen will gladly pay the return shipping for your item. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

FAQ'S

How do I qualify for free shipping?

All orders that total over $100 qualify for free ground shipping, excluding orders to Hawaii and Alaska.

When will my order ship?

Orders placed before 12pm on business days will typically be shipped the same day. Orders placed after 12pm will usually be shipped the next business day. Orders placed on weekends and holidays will be shipped the following business day. Please be aware that transits times may vary, please refer to the map for estimated transit times to your location.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs are determined by the total amount of your order. Orders over $100 qualify for free ground shipping, excluding orders from Hawaii and Alaska. Expedited shipping is also available. Refer to the shipping chart to estimate your shipping costs.

How is my order shipped?

All orders to the United States are shipped through UPS. UPS ships Monday through Friday. Saturday and holiday deliveries are not guaranteed.

What types of shipping do you offer?

We offer Three Day, Two Day and Overnight shipping options at additional charge. We do not offer expedited shipping to Alaska or Hawaii.

Can you ship to PO Boxes, APO, FPO, or other military bases?

No. All orders are shipped via UPS, and unfortunately they do not ship to these types of addresses.

How do I receive an order confirmation?

Upon order completion you will receive an email containing your order summary. If you do not see an email from Little Red Hen, please check your spam or junk folders. If you did not receive an email, please contact us.

How do I track my package?

Once your order is shipped you will receive a tracking number via email. You may need to check your spam or junk folders. Please allow 24 hours for the tracking information to update after you have received your shipping confirmation email before tracking your package.

My tracking number says my package was delivered, but I don’t have it. What do I do now?

If your package was lost or stolen, please contact us and we will take the necessary steps with UPS to rectify the situation.

How are Gift Certificates shipped? Can I use them online?

All gift certificates are shipped through the United States Postal Service for $1.99 shipping and handling. Please note that at this time, gift certificates can NOT be used online, and are only redeemable at our physical locations in Chico, CA.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and PayPal. Items are charged to your credit card at the time of purchase.

My order is not going through, what’s wrong?

Double check that your billing information is correct and matches the information on your order statement. If your information matches and you are still experiencing problems, please contact us.

Do you have any physical stores I can visit?

We have 5 retail locations throughout Chico, CA. Each store offers an array of unique items. Check out our various locations under the “Stores” tab above!

What are your customer service hours?

We can be reached via telephone or email Monday through Friday during business hours (9am-5pm PST). Check the “Contact” page for a list of contact methods.

How are your orders packaged?

We do our best to help benefit the environment in any way we can. All packaging materials used by Little Red Hen are recycled and reused from our vendor orders. All orders are carefully packaged by hand to ensure they arrive safely.

What is your return policy?

Do you ship internationally or to Canada?

We do ship internationally and to Canada at special request only. ontact us for about a particular item we might be able to accommodate your request.
