The Nine of Wands symbolizes persistence in the face of life’s obstacles just as this beautiful Hibiscus plant stands defiantly tall as it reaches for the light. These heirloom "Florida Cranberries" are finicky but well worth the growing journey as they are wonderful for making zingy tea, sauces and jam. The tart flower calyxes high in Vitamin C have been used in herbal medicine for years. Plant Height: 6 - 8 feet. Annual. Contains 15 Seeds. Instructions: To speed germination soak seeds in warm water overnight or abrade them lightly with sandpaper. Plant seeds 4 to 8 weeks before the end of frost. Transplant outside - careful not to disturb the roots - one week after last frost date. Direct sow outside when soil warms to 75° F. Keep moist until germination but not wet. Plant: 1/2” deep Space: transplant 12” - 18” apart Germination: 7 - 14 days Maturity: 115 - 125 days Soil: well drained too much nitrogen reduces flowering Hardiness: Zones 8-11
