It's Giving Tuesday!

Giving Tuesday is the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving and is recognized as a global day of giving. An act of kindness to those in need can serve as a source of inspiration and can help to spread the message of a world changed by radical generosity, which is why people around the world take a moment on Giving Tuesday to donate their time, money, and whatever else they can in order to support non-profits. 

Obviously, there are a multitude of non-profit companies that you can choose to donate to. We asked a few members of our team to share why Little Red Hen is an important company to think of on #GivingTuesday.

Little Red Hen serves people with developmental disabilities. As employee Garrett G. explained, "Giving Tuesday is all about donating to do good. Little Red Hen is one company where donations are guaranteed to do good because every donation we receive supports kids and adults with disabilities by funding our programs."

What makes Little Red Hen so special is the unfulfilled need it addresses. People with intellectual and developmental disabilities have a place to connect with peers, work to support themselves, develop their careers and passions, and connect with their community on a deeper level.
