Your November Calendar

Here is your heads up for the national food holidays taking place in the month of November. Now a few of these, like national Deviled Eggs Day (November 1st) have already past. Of course it's never too late to celebrate something when delicious delicacies are concerned.

Tomorrow, November 11 2023, is National Sundae Day (And on a Saturday no less! Haha).

Of course, it would be more fitting on a Sunday, but jokes aside, if you’d like to be able to make your own ice cream or spruce up something you bought from the store we offer ice cream makers and pop molds as well as a variety of sundae toppings such as salted caramel by Goop and chocolate peppermint sauce by Stonewall Kitchen.

Almost done. November 14th is Homemade Guac Day, so it will be a good day to make some guacamole and put it on things like toast, shrimp, deviled eggs (every day can be Deviled Egg Day), stuffed mushrooms, burgers, and chips and fries. We have several avocado-related items, such as an Avocado Saver, which acts as storage for the unused half of an avocado, keeping it fresh. Also on hand are tools to help you prepare your guac, such as mashers, slicers, and dicers.

And, of course, Turkey Day is right around the corner. Keep an eye out for our upcoming Thanksgiving-themed blog post, but don't let that holiday distract you from all of November's other national days.
