Stay Safe This Saint Patrick's Day

Break out the Flogging Molly, its almost Saint Patrick's Day, a green-infused day celebrating Irish culture. Whether your Irish or not, March 17th is a great day to get together with friends.

Have a Movie Marathon

There are plenty of classic and modern Irish-inspired cinema choices to add to your viewing party. These films range from family-friendly classics to coming of age adventure.

1. Darby O'Gill and The Little People. A 1959 Disney fantasy adventure tale about a pub-dwelling Irishman who matches wits with the King of leprechauns is sure to be a crowd pleaser for everyone.

2. The Quiet Man. This John Wayne 1932 classic tells the story of a recently retired American boxer who comes home to the village where he was born and finds an unexpected romance.

3. Boondock Saints. An ultra-violent 1999 story about two Irish brothers (Sean Patrick Flannery and a pre-Walking Dead Norman Reedus) turned vigilantes as they grow tired of the crime and corruption plaguing their Boston neighbourhood.

4. Far and Away. This epic adventure film follows Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman as a wronged tenant farmer and the daughter of his former unscrupulous landlord hoping to claim a piece of land during the 19th century Oklahoma Gold Rush.
